I don't make many of these so when a local chef contacted me asking if I could make him a chefs knife. I asked him if we could meet and go over
the size and blade style he wanted. After our discussing his interests, this is what we came up with. OAL 14 1/4" Blade 9", steel O-1. Bolster N/S, Box elder handle with Mosaic pins.

Thanks for looking

Bill

Beautiful - a real classic.

And that's one helluva piece of elder

Gorgeous knife, Bill. You need to start making more; you did that one so well. ;) :)

Thanks Peter & Mike.

Wow, Mike I haven't heard from you since our ol pal talk days. Its good to see your still making knives, I hope everythings good down your way. Making the chefs knife was a nice change and I enjoy making all types of knives. It's just another day at the office. ;)

Bill,

Really nice knife. I like the classic lines and blade shape/size. That should be good for a lifetime of service and then some. The box elder is some of the nicest I have seen.

Nice! A bit different than your usual work, but very nice indeed!

Kind regards,

Jos
