Hey guys, i don't know if this is possible, but the tsuka on my Yamakami Ko Katana is so wide that i can't use it comfortably. I'm wondering if it's possible to narrow the front to back width.

Sure it's possible, but unless you have skills to do it, it's somewhat expensive.

Or really expensive depending on who you get to do the job :D

Just a thought, but you could try posting on the exchange services wanted forum.

The yamakami is a through hardened blade... that's good news for you because that means you can modify the tang to fit a more narrow tsuka. Visit Cheness' websight and you can order a tsuka there. Notice they specify each tsuka if it's larger or normal. I'm guessing you will also have to alter the tang but if u have the tools to do it it should be easy.
