Cherry Burl, Damascus and Wrought Iron

Here is one that was finished up recently. It is 1084/1075/15n20 damascus made by me. Handle is Amish cut Cherry Burl from here in Ohio. Guard and buttcap are antique wrought iron etched deep with copper and black spacers. Thanks to all for looking at it and let me know what you think. Have a good weekend all -Burton

That cherry burl is outstanding. Did you go burl pickin or did you find it online? stunning--marekz
 
The damascus took the etch-ant really well. Nice offsetting material with the use of the highly figured cherry.

Nice all around. I like the copper trim it looks great with the cherry and wrought iron.
 
I agree with everyone else. Great looking knife. The color of the copper and cherry burl really go well together.
 
A real nice nice work. all the materials are well together.
And the cherry burl is something stellar.
