Howdy boys and ghouls-

I ordered an OD green kydex sheath from Chestnut Ridge Knife Shop for my BK7 last week or so, and it promptly arrived earlier this week. The laptop is fried or I'd post some pics, but this is a very handsome rig indeed!!

The retention is perfect and there is no play or rattle. Interestingly though, I've not noticed any finish wear to coincide with the tight fit. The belt loop is removable via two screws, and is very secure as well. The whole package is dramatically smaller and lighter than the stock sheath and it would allow you to carry the blade any way you please (I'm thinking of setting this up for horizontal carry, for example). Overall I can ignore rain and water as it would affect my knife, and it doesn't pull my pants down trying to carry it. Also it's sleeker and less rambo looking to the average hiker.

I really believe this sheath changes the functionality of the BK7 overall and it's a steal for the price. Plus you don't have to send off your blade like you would have to for a custom sheath. At the low low price, it's definitely a bargain and a 'must have' for the BK7.

Really good report, Spooky. Please post some pictures when you can (sorry about the laptop).

Thanks for the review. We appreciate your business! We try our best to turn out good products, the Becker knives deserve a good custom sheath.

I just got my sheath from CRKS for my BK7, it is awesome. The retention is great, with lots of mounting possibilities. Great work!
