I noticed Busse has been added to the list of exhibitors for Chicago (weekend of sept 11- fri sat). Anyone besides me n doorkicker attending? I'm thinking of organizing a trip to the ponies on Saturday (the show ain't actually in Chicago- its in Arlington heights- home of the Arlington International Racetrack...less than a mile from the knife show...)... let me know...
 
I'll be there on Saturday. It'll be my first ever knife show. My fiance and I will be there right when it opens and hopefully we can get at least a few hours in. We have a late afternoon party at a friends house in the South Suburbs so we won't be able to make an entire day of it at the show.
 
well if you guys want to booze it up with some punk rock degenerates in the Arlington racetrack's "Million Room" let me know...there's a whopping five dollar fee for the use of your table (plus mind boggling bar tab of course)- but you have your own waitress and the room has its own betting windows...post time is at one pm- but the races go for a while...but let me know soon so I can reserve a window side table...
 
My Sis in Law is graduating from college up there that weekend, I think, so I might talk the wife into it. :)

ok...I will be making reservations for Sat the 10th...anyone who wants in speak up now (I will be making the call for reservations on Saturday...)
 
Man, wish we could make it. There are some great place to chow around there too.

There is one little Italian place at the corner of Lake Cook and Arlington Heights, not to mention Bon Chin's, The Ram, and the Weber Grill.

Crap crap crap.

KAAK, she's on AIM now and then. Been busy packin to move.
 
oh...one last thing- The Million room actually has a dress code- no jeans, no gymn shoes, collared shirt...
