I think there is a conspiracy against us Chi-towners. The two bid blade shows are on the opposite side of the country! I can sort of understand the placement but there needs to be a Midwest Blade Show, Maybe there is and i havent heard about it but i can find any decent knife show calendars on the web, Closest thing to a knife show around here are military collectable shows, That mainly have rusty (stolen from japanese soldiers) old handle less katana blades, bayonets, and Nazi daggers covered with swazticas. HELP! Any onther Chicagoens around here with some info?

Chicago had a BIG knife show for years; Mt. Vernon, IL. has a pretty decent show in the fall and has had for years, also. I'd check and see if the Chicago Blade Show is still being held as it was attended by a number of big name makers. There's also a St. Louis knife show a couple times each year.......

There is a custom knife show in Oak Lawn on Sept 7-9th I think (same as Blade Show West). 120 tables of customs, 120 of others I believe is the table count.

I will have a table there for you MidWestern Blade Forumites if you would stop by and see me that would be fantastic
