Nice! Cute little girl how old is she? My daughter is 3 and she always says " Knife ooooh!" Where did you get that SAK?

We started attending our church a few years ago. We met a couple who were leading the church's soup kitchen team and our families just clicked immediately. Sometimes you don't know what makes a friendship work so well. We are still finding out more whenever we get together. A big hint that things were going to work was when Shari asked if I had any sharp kitchen knives that I could bring to the soup kitchen. Since I had around 50 spares this was a very good sign of compatibility. A recent sign was when we had the family over to dinner a couple weeks ago. We had a new board game to open and Laura, their eight year old, pulls out a tiny lockback to cut the plastic wrap off the box. With so many problems with zero tolerance in schools I was surprised that she would have one on her all the time. I asked her where she got it and she said it used to be Mom's, but she had passed it down when she got a bigger one. This is a mother who thinks that a knife is a girl's best friend.

PS. I think that Laura's knife was a Gerber Microlight LST:
