Found this one, wonder if it is a CK Chinese one

What axe pattern is it? Which way is the mark running?

I see an oval with maybe something inside of it with a semi circle below it with a line running midway through it. Maybe another shape under that line in the semi-circle.

A bigger picture, further away from the head, would help. Or maybe clean it up some if you really want to know - from the picture it doesn't look like the mark on the axe Steve Tall shared.

Get yourself a wire wheel for a portable drill or better yet a knotted cup brush for a portable angle grinder and give the head a good going over to expose the stamp. One of these days we are going to discover that the Chinese are eminently capable of manufacturing high quality tools. Asians outnumber n. Americans and Europeans by a multiple of 100 (at least) and have been manufacturing tools for their own use for a very long time. It's all a question of 'to what spec' were these commissioned. Typically the blame lies with Walmart or Sears etc. and not the factory that produced them.
