China rip offs

Damn counterfeits of the Armed Forces series (BO112,BO114).
There was some discussion of copy or counterfeit in the Kershaw forum
for something similar.
This is a counterfeit because it has Boker's name on it.
Even though the pivot screw, thumbstud, clip, no serrations are
different they stole the name.

They have many other designs on there from other companies as well.

Hope they rot.

Thank you for posting this.
We are aware, and taking steps to deal with it.

Thanks, Terry

Good luck to Boker in preserving their brands. It really is time for China, if they want to be part of the world economic community, to play by the rules.

This is a new dimension of product piracy, that we will not accept!
The use of our trademark and our name is nothing that we will tolerate!
Our lawyers have instructions to contact this company that this will stop immediately.

We hope, that nobody will be fooled by them, and think they will get a "BOKER Plus" knife and get a cheap rip off.

Dealextreme sells at least a few counterfeit knives. I bought what appeared to be from the site, a generic Cold Steel knockoff out of curiosity from them. What I got was an out and out counterfeit, marked as if it were authentic. Even the box looked legit.

To their credit, they don't claim these to be authentic. However, there is nothing to stop someone from ordering these in bulk and peddling them on ebay as authentic. This has happened with the Cold Steel knockoff already.

Bogus products on ebay can be outed, and the merchandise banned. But still, this is a serious problem for manufacturers.
