Chinese Cadet?

I am trying to find out if Buck is making the 300 series pocket knives in China now?

I have heard of Buck Cadets at Walmart being marked "Made in China" on the main blade. I was looking at buying a cadet for general pocket duty, but if Buck is having them made in China I'll pass.

I'd like to hear from Joe on this.

Thank you,

jackknife.

jackknife,
I know that we are having some of our 303's made in China now. Not all of them though.

Is this a trend in Buck manufacture or a stop gap while the company is in the midst of a major move?

In other words, do I haunt all the wallyworlds and pick up future X-mas and birthday gifts of U.S. made Bucks now before all Bucks are made in China?
