I just got the knife last night. WOW!

question: what material is the spacer made of?
I moved the clip to tip down position and where the clip used to be there is something left that looks like a fine layer of superglue. How can I remove this?

Thanks Sal, very fine knife indeed.

The "superglue" is probably residual Loctite. Try using a product called GOO GONE to remove it.

I kept thinking that I should use a solvent to get rid of that Loctite, but never quite got around to it. Then one day I just rubbed it with my finger and it peeled off. Sometimes being lazy is an advantage ;).

The spacer feels like G10 to me but I've never seen it "officially" identified.

Acetone, AKA "Nail Polish Remover" will also do the trick.

It is hard to say whether the spacer is G10, FRN or ?. I don't really want to carve into it to find out. Would have been nice in silver or green, or left out altogether.

If it follows the way Bob makes his knives, it should be just plain micarta.
