Just wondering if anybody else has any experience of these blades- also called highbinder knives, hu die dao, or san francisco knives- the one in the first pic is one I made because I couldn't find one I could afford. This one's an original:

hu die means butterfly in Chinese, but anyways I really like the blade shape

I never knew that! They are the precursor to the "butterfly swords" of Wing Chun-interesting. I love the blade shape too-if they're shaped right they cut very, very well for their size.
