Looking like the real one,but how is its performance?
Well, not like the original of course,but....

I am against illegal product copies and will never recommend to buy one of these fakes.
We should respect the copyrights of the knife designers/manufacturers and support them by buying an original and not the copy.Anyway the copy is not as good as the original.
This vid is for demonstration, because I was curious, what a fake made-in-china-can do.I got this one for free for reviewing from a pal of mine.

Not too shabby! I was pretty suprised that a fake was able to take that kind of a whuppin'. I don't think the genuine article would have done all that much better. Interesting.

Yes,I agree. It has performed well. But the chinese producers of this knife should do their own designs and not steal it from other brands/companies.
Then it would be a recommendation for people with less money to get an acceptable knife.

Not everyone can afford to buy a Strider. But there are a lot of good(original) knives out there on the market for a lower price also.

However, this fake knife did a good job(surprisingly),in my opinion.

Danke for sharing.

As an aside, the Boker+ M-Type immediately comes to mind when thinking about a "poor man's SNG".

huge fan of your videos, your Kizlyar Combat 1 review remains my fav - i'm STILL on their waitlist for one

Very nice review. Thanks for that. I would love to see a comparative review of some other quality knife with comparable features (similar length, style, blade thickness, handles like G-10, etc). This would allows to gauge just how well (or poorly) the China knock off did.

Great demo.
When you have a single piece of such thick steel that's heat treated even to some degree it will still take significant abuse without breaking, it won't hold an edge nor will the handles last as long as quality made ones but it's still a single piece of steel, even if it is cheap China. With enough force it'll still do almost anything.

Thanks for all your good words!

A "Rick Hinderer",I haven`t tested so far.Yes,and the Böker M-type is a good knife,no doubt.
BTW: This knock off was bought by my friend on ebay for 15 Euro - that`cheap, isn`t it!;-)

:D Hey, man good review. I enjoyed it very much. Do you know of the website where I can order one. Preferably in english.;)

WoW a Chinese fake that exceeds expectations. Thank you for the great videos.

? The video says a Buck/Strider. AFAIK the Buck/Strider is a licensed copy. That would mean that it's not a fake, but that Buck payed some consideration to Strider to copy the knife.

So, is the knife in question a Buck/Strider or an unlicensed copy of the Buck/Strider intended to deceive buyers into believing they are buying an actual Buck/Strider?

It's the latter. The knife has the wrong blade steel and so on, you think you buy a Buck/Strider, but it's just a knockoff...:grumpy:
