Chinese Style Pattern Welded Cleaver
This was a special order for handle maker extraordinaire Mike Riggen.
Specs

• Steel: 1084/15n20
• Blade length: 223 mm
• Width: 113
• 3mmspine thickness at the heal
• 2.3mm spine thickness at the tip
• 456 Grams



This blade presented many interesting challenges. It weighs almost exactly a pound but took a billet of over 5 pounds to make.

The pattern is absolutely stunning. One of the prettiest Chinese chef knives I've seen and looks to be a great cutter.
