I believe this site has some serious safety issues.since i registered, i receive lots of spam e-mails,which never happened before.

Don't get me wrong,i love BF but its at a point i almost regret registering.

I've been here for a few years, and I get spam in the order of like 5 a month. It definitely isn't this site that's doing it.

I looks like you're reading a post one of the SPAM Bots hit it with a bunch of Crap. Mods will clean these up fast if you report the post.
I've been a member for awhile and the only emails I get from BF are PM (Conversation) notifications.

I've been here 12 years. The only spam I receive is from vendors to whom I have accidentally given my actual email address instead of my spam trap address. I also get a ton of stuff from LinkedIn. This site has my actual address. I have received no spam emails connected with the site.

Since we've changed direction here....

My digital life got SO much easier when I realized how to play.

You need a minimum of TWO email addresses.

ANYTHING which requires a sign-up to purchase or whatnot gets one email. That's my SPAM email, and truth be told, it has VERY little unwanted spam. It does get 60+ a day of emails which are things I've signed up for. THAT account is not on my phone.

Then I have my business email (jcooper AT SharpByCoop.com) I want to hear from anyone about photo stuff.

And my personal email for friends and family.

Sure there is some overlap, but on my phone I have a VERY manageable amount.

Bladeforums messages DO come to my private account, but like knarfeng allowed, never any (un)solicitations. Rare.
