Hey guys,

quick question. small chunk of horn came off from the handle at the buttcap. What should I use to reattach? crazy glue good? Epoxy better?
 
I'd use crazy glue (the thin liquid stuff). I find epoxy to be messy.

How big is the chip and how did it get that way?
 
seems like the khukuri took a hit on the buttcap. it's dented in on one of the pointed ends of the buttcap.

not a big deal. I'll rebend the buttcap and stick on the chip. I'll sand if necessary.
 
Depending upon where it is chipped, I've found buffing out the damage is a good thing. If the chips are on the corners- I just make the corners less pronounced.
Yeah, I grind right through the butt cap- round it off.
