Chipper serrations..

Well I was cutting some plastic ties, some of them thicker then others. The first couple were a pain in the ass. They last one wasn't and sliced a little too easily...and pushed my ARK into a metal sheath. To my surprise the serrations have a couple of chips out of them.

Leave it, or do what with it?

Just how big are they? And of course "are they really chips", if they are I bet Jerry would like to see that knife. If they're really small or just indentations/localized rolls I'd use a fine ceramic rod/triangle and straighten them out a bit and keep on truckin.

Nope they are indeed chips. Not surprised as I suppose them hitting a metal shelf would definatly chip out the knife. They are smaller chips but they are certainly noticeable. I don't think I should sharpen them out though as it wear too much of the serration away. Definatly why I should have waited for a simple Model T MS. Plain edge, nothing special.

I've got a chipped edge on my Battle Mistress E, but I don't know if I can post pics of it yet. If anyone wants to see just let me know.
