Chiruwa AK by Bura. RECEIVED today.

I received my Chiruwa AK by Bura this morning (PGA#3 - 11/05/2002).
It's a wonderfull khukuri, good contact, very easy to control. As you said it have a pretty handle. What is the name of the wood of the handle ?

As best as I can remember you're right, Keith. 95% of the handles are saatisal. When it's something else I generally can't ID it. Berk's special order had what I thought was Chandan, beautiful stuff, but I'm still not sure what it is.

OK, saatisal or anything else, this wood is have a vry fine texture.
