Chisel grind the best for wood working?

Wouldn't a chisel grind outperform all grinds (assuming all variables are taken out) at wood working? Less drag wouldn't have to raise the back of the blade that much and also smaller shoulder. What do you think?

Is this for a carving knife? You say blade like it is a knife but your post isn't clear. If it is carving knife, then it would limit the directions you can cut. Are you thinking of a carving knife, Nathan?

Yeah I am and maybe it would be a better shaping knife.
