I just made this as a gift for the guy across the road who is my source for circular saw blades ,he is a cabinet maker by trade and finds old blades in the new housing complexes.
he isn`t into knives at all so I thought I would make him a tool for his box.
Blade 2.5mm thick 105 mm long (4 1/2")
heat treated with a torch in quenching oil.
Chisel ground (hand filed) on two sides
Scales Jarrah
one 3/16 stainless pin and two 1/8" Aluminium
210 mm over all (8 1/2")

I have not seen anything like this before so can I claim it as a Aussie first multi tool or have you seen one before.

I like it! My only concern is that it looks a little thick, but that could be the pictures. Either way, it's a fine piece of craftsmanship.

Its only 2.5 mm (not quite 1/8th) I will get the light tent out today and try for a better picture.
