Chitlangi vs. Wild Roses

I recently had an oppurtunity to put my 21in Durba Chitlangi to work helping a friend clear the underbrush from his land. The Chitlangi proved an effective tool for clearing Wild Rose and blackberry bushes, as well as thorny locust saplings. Much more effective than a machette against these tough & flexible shrubs. Even though a few strokes ended with the blade buried in the ground no harm was done- it wasn't even noticeably dulled. My friend, who had been sceptical, was impressed. Like an idiot I forgot to bring heavy leather work gloves and my right hand looks like a pissed-off Tomcat got ahold of it. Got to learn to be smarter than my equipment, I guess:D .

But then it's heavier and fatigue sets in. I was wondering how a 25in Kobra would be for this sort of thing- is it tiring to use? In terms of weight and balance? Any info and advice would be appreciated.

Al has my old 25" Kobra - it kept falling on my toes while I was trying to hold it up
