Chive Blade??

I just got a hold of a Chive for free because it has a broken tip (the guy I got it from found out it’s not too good for prying:rolleyes:). Anyhow I’m looking to re-place the blade on it. I checked out Kershaw’s site and noticed it says they won’t ship just blades. So, how much would it be to send it to Kershaw for a new blade, or where could I pick up a replacement?

Thanks in advance guys!

Thanks for the reply.

Just curious if you could give me an approximate price ($15, $20?); I’m not going to hold you to it, just would like an idea. Also, are there any other steels available or are all chive blades 420HC?

Thanks again Thomas.

There won't be any charge other than for you to get the knife to us.

There are no other steels available on the Chive as of today.

Thanks again Thomas!

Should I just ship it to the warranty department address below?

This is one of the reasons I carry and use Kershaw knives. Excellent customer service!

Why more companies don't follow this formula is beyond me. For the small cost of a free blade (or spring, clip, etc) Kershaw proves they stand behind their product, period!

I have bought 4 Kershaw knives this year because of Thomas and company. Nice work, keep it up!

Yeah I’m new to Kershaw’s customer service, mainly because I’ve never hand to send anything in and I own a half a dozen or so of their pocket knives (yes they’re just that good:thumbup:). It’s just one more reason to buy Kershaw!

Thanks again Thomas, I’ll send it out as soon as I get a chance.

Yes they are and it's nice to know you have 1st class CS when you need it.

I have made Kershaw and Buck the two companies I buy knives from due to their quailty product and customer service and great pricing. I buy over 100 knives a year for me and my friends so I think that says alot....
