After searching for the ideal lightweight "shorts" knife I settled on a Kershaw Chive. I love this knife, it's alotta fun to open. I played around with sereval other types of knives but found that the pocket clip was necessary because most of the knives without it would fall out of the slash type pockets on shorts. So, alas, a low cost, low profile Chive was bought.
The blade is razor sharp now but I'm curious as to how I'm going to sharpen this knife later down the road. Seems that I'm somewhat knife sharpening challenged so I have to rely on my Lansky diamond kit to sharpen by blades. All the diamond stones I have are flat stones. Since the blade on the chive has some curves to it I'm assuming that the flat stones won't work well. Do I need to buy the Lansky "V" notched stones for serrated blades? Recommendations would be appreciated.
