choiled BK11 to good home

Choiled my BK11 and it didn't quite turn out. It's a bit sharp on the finger because it's so thin but throws sparks great. Accidentally cut the sheath too but the pin I have keeps it in there well.

Anyways with my CSM 11 I wasn't really using it anyways so it's up for grabs if anyone wants it. Figure a maker could use it as a blank or if someone needs a striker that can cut. Dunno if you want it it's yours. Maybe shipping, we'll see. It's coming from Ontario Canada keep in mind. All I ask is you plan to do something with it. Not just stress test it please.

id be more than happy to take it off your hands and turn the remaining blade into a saw and use it as a striker/saw
 
Edit: I was hoping someone involved with the Becker Knife & Tool Board.

I am not a BeckerHead yet but I am on my way. Put me in line. I think the choil would be a great spot for the fire steel. Are there any more Canadian BeckerHeads?

I've recently been thinking about doing some heavy modding to an 11, and since you've already started.........
 
I don't have a BK11 or 14, and would love to have one.

That said, I'm stateside, so if shipping is going to be as much as buying one with free shipping... then I might as well just do that eventually. Let the canadian beckerheads take first stab at it, and if no one else wants it, remember me :).

It's just hard to tell the difference between someone using it and someone wanting free stuff. No judgement on your character guys, it's just the internet.

I have no idea what I was expecting but this response is way larger than I was expecting. MWTIC was the first man to post with over 100 in Becker Forums so it's yours. If you still think logan should have it then it's his.

Basically:

4. Bpiatt
5. Johnnie Wadcutter

That's the order. If you take the blade that means you agree to pass it on to the next guy on the list if you don't use/want it.

I have actually thought about choiling mine. Not quite sure if i will yet, or how i will do it. That darn Dremel Tool is one of the handiest things i have bought. It calls to me every now & then. LOL
 
Thats very generous of you. I already have one so you can take me out of line. I just wanted to try it with my firesteel. You did give me some ideas though for mine.

Choils are cool but ultimately the knife is too small. I have a choil on my 7 and love it!
Dremel is also quite cool.

for firesteels i'd recommend filing down the top. But that's my $0.02

Well, I'll use the thing if thats what you're asking. Although to be honest, I'm not going to EDC it (illegal on campus). It will be used around the apartment, and then whenever I go out into the woods. Also, if we ever have another contest that you can ONLY use a BK11 or BK14 on, I'll be ready this time.

I'll also probably do a review of the BK11 and the ZK Archeron that came with my war sword, just because I'm like that.
