Choilless Anniversary Mean Street, Anyone?

I would much prefer it this way. I really like choils on bigger knives, but not on a 3.5" blade.
 
I have the CABS for that very reason. My GW and BAD are with new Hogs now.

A BAD with no choil would also be a dream.
 
Same here. I don't mind a very, very small sharpening choil on a smaller knife, but anything larger can get hung up, and also takes away blade edge.
 
I'll be buying an anniversary Meaner either way, but a choilless option sure would be nice. The choil on the smaller blades just gets caught more easily than I would like.

That and they are too big to be just a sharpening notch, yet too small to function as a choke-up choil.......:confused: I see absolutely no reason why something with a 4" blade should have anything more than a sharpening notch, but different strokes.....:o
 
I plan on buying a satin when they come out but I would be a whole lot happier if it didnt have a choil. Imo no knife under 6 inches needs a choil on it but thats just me.
 
I am in the will get one either way, but choiless is the only way to go for this knife IMO.

I'm on of them guys that actually likes a choil on bigger knives, HOWEVER, as was stated by others, blades under 4" just don't need 'em. In the under 4" catagory, a pinch grip is all you need to choke up!
