hi guys,heres my second post:)

Just want a new edc folder but i cant desided myself-----C132 or C36?

btw,i ve got a SBZ but still no Spyderco, wanting how would Spyderco's S30v

(or Frame lock?)perform.

:D

These knives are so very different that I wonder how you decide between the two.
I have and love both, among my fave Spydercos.
Perhaps I can recommend a way out: the Stetch 2 with CF handle and ZDP steel is a fantastic universal EDC, with a different steel to sample.

Thanks for ur reply Bro : )

but i hate lockback, its hard to clean. What i doult was if the Military's liner lock is strong enough and if the Chokwe can be used as a combat knife well(U know, the point ofC132 just "looks" too low)

You will never break the Military's liner lock. It is one of the very very best liner locks I have ever come across. Nowadays there are more expensive variants with a frame lock, and I don't expect them to lock better - just differently.
It's a fantastic cutter that's remarkably light as well.

I have zero knowledge (or interest) about knives combat. I can only say that the Chokwe is a very refined precision utility knife that could even be used at the table with some class.

I just got a chokwe last night. The construction is excellent but the design is not as ergonomic as the military. I dont like the aesthetics of either but I know from experience (edc for a year) that the military "works" very well. The Chokwe feels more specialized. As others have mentioned, it would make a great food prep knife.

So, the military is a good choice. The orange handled one is being discontinued and lots of stores are selling it at a discount, so that may be the best option right now.

OMG:eek:what i ordered several hours ago is an orange one!

Really amazing color:)

Everyone should own and use a Military at some time IMO. A great design that has been improved as time goes by.

I like the Chokwe as a light duty knife - slices, dices, opens boxes and wayward fingers just fine.
