How thin is the chokwe compared to the hollow grind edge on the Yojimbo?
I know the stock on the yo2 is thicker but the high hollow grind gives it a great thin edge

The yo2 its my go to knife for work (masking cars with paper and plastic before I paint them) and if I could find a wharnie style blade with a thin stock,I think it would be perfect

Thanks!

Also forgot the finer the tip is the better

The chokwe has the tiniest bit of belly curve at the tip of the blade, which may or may not be what you'd want. The blade is pretty thin behind the edge, but not extraordinarily so.

If you can find them the Perrin PPT is a modified wharncliffe but the blade stock isn't extremely thing like the chokwe

I've worked in the trade and owned almost every Spyderco at some point so understand what you're looking for. Des Horn. The handle shape makes it easy to control and the S30V blade is thin with a fine point and sharpens like a razor. They're offered at a good price as well so if it works well for you buy another.

Anyone have pics of the spine and tip compared to a pm2?

If you can find 1 a Centafonte 4 has a thin warny blade with vg 10. I had 1 I never used and sold it.

KrisOK thank you so much perfect pics, looks like the yo has a thinner edge, but still might try a chokwe

yoko the Yojimbo only have a "thinner" edge because unlike most spydies its a hollow ground blade. But all in all I totally agree the Chokwe would probably suit your needs just fine.
