Chokwe With Wire Clip

I have mentioned this before, and had a Chokwe at a machine shop to get modded to accept a wire clip. I left my Sage 2 (as a model) and the Chokwe scale, and have been without for a long time, but it was free and I bought a few knives to keep me occupied. I got them back today and am happy with the results. I put the black clip from the Sage 1 on it and took the clip from my Caly 3 off and put it on the Sage 1. I carry the Caly 3 typically unclipped. Since it has been gone, I have come to like the regular clip more (I bought a second Chokwe and carried it in the mean time), but think I will like this new one better.

You can see I used the most aft stand off and the longer screw from the Caly 3 to secure. It leaves just a bit of the knife showing, and the original clip holes are visible, but I can live with them.


 
I like it.
I love the wire clip an my Sage and Caly, and wish I had one on a Military and Para.
 
Thanks guys, I carried it today and it was about perfect with the small amount sticking out. I had a deep carry Ti clip on it at one time, but because of the squared off end at the butt, it would actually get stuck in my pocket when I went to pull it out. This has just enough to grab on to but not allow the lip of my pocket to come over the knife.

This was the old clip that I liked the looks of, but it was not functional.
