Ok so i have some money from christmas, im wanting a higher quality knife. So far ive narrowed down my choices to the spyderco chaparral carbon fibre and the mcusta nami large.

This doesnt have to be a hard use folder. And theae are some of the knives i dont need to worry about customs with.

Just want to know peoples thoughts which one they think is better, and whether someone could posts some pictures of both?

I would always recommend U. S. made knives from any manufacturer. I am not putting down Spydees as they have a huge following for a reason, but finding one made in the U. S. is difficult, and is the reason I don't own any except some small TSA legal folders.

Assuming he's really in Tasmania like his location indicates I doubt "USA made" is a criteria.

Looks like you are after a light-weight gentleman's folder. Personally I'd go with the Chaparral over the Nami. But then I'd prefer the Spyderco Sage 1 over both. It's a bit heavier but I prefer liner locks to back locks.

I do heartily dislike back-locks. I love Spyderco. I had one Chaparral that I gifted. Beautiful knife.

Thanks for the replys guys, i do actually live in tasmania so thats the reason for the choices(i know i can get these through customs) i think that i am going to go for a spyderco ive been wanting one for ages!
