I'll probably end up getting all 3 at some point, but wanted opinions on these knives as to which to get. I've all my bases covered as to knives and functionality so it's not really a specific task any of these will be required to carry out. Just opinions and possible alternatives from other "enthusiasts" pros and cons etc... particularly from those who own any of these knives.

So

Kabar Ek 45
Boker Abolito El Gigante
Hogue ex-F01 (7").

I have no knowledge of or experience with any of these, but given the choice, I think I’d lean towards the Hogue Ex-F01 first. That looks pretty sweet.

Yes I'm vearing towards it, but the Boker Bowie (Argentinian made and very good by the reviews) is calling😏

I know some may find it a vague thread but I can only rely on YouTube reviews etc... and wanted some opinions. Thanks for your input Danny!

The Hogue is a great knife. You will not break it. Heat treatment is pretty good, holds an edge for normal use a long time. The design starts to make more sense once the knife is put to use.

The Hogue looks great, and A2 + Cocobolo is one of my favorite combos. A2 has enough chrome that you don’t have to maintain too carefully. Plus, it’s lighter than the Boker. Might want to budget for an additional sheath, though.
