The Bark River seems to be pretty cool, especially with all the color options it has
Tell me what you think

Being a owner of both, I think you would find the Rat 3 a bit large for a necker.....the Izula is just about right.
Can't comment on the BRKT cept I just don't like the looks of it.

Maybe, the becker Necker and the bk11 also seem to be a great neck knives ;)

just to throw a spanner in your works, what about a Fallkniven WM-1, convex ground in your choice of either Laminated VG-10 or 3G SGPS?

my 3G one is in my back left pocket as i type and i hardly feel it's presence.

I think the Rat 3 is very similar to the current production ESEE-3?
In which case too big and heavy for an EDC neck knife. At least if you want it to be concealed...Also RAT warns against carrying it inverted with the stock sheath.

I really love my Izula, it makes a great neck knife.

I belive the WM-1 is solid VG - 10 and only the 3G one is laminated.:)

I certainly love my Becker Necker. If you have a chance to handle both that one and the Izula, that might help your decision. The price is comparable (though the Becker is slightly cheaper) as is the steel. I liked the Becker's blade shape better and the handle fits my larger hand better.

Both are rock solid though. Can't comment on the Bravo.

of those 3 I'd choose the Izula, most likely because I have 2.

Although I've just seen a Cold Steel necker with finger holes at both ends forget what it was called but seen it on the-knife-connection dot com.. For around $28, I'd like to know if anyone has this.. thinking of picking one up...

Of the 3 listed I'd pick the Izula since that's the only one I've had experience with.

However, given a choice, I'd pick this one which is my current favorite small fixed.

I've always liked that knife by Coye. Its the Ridgeback model I believe. However, I think the handles are too thick for neck carry. I guess you could always take them off and paracord wrap it. Those are some beautifully sculpted G10 handles though and it would be a shame to take them off in my opinion.

Izula is a great blade, as would be a Swamp Warden, if you want something a little longer....

I never heard this before, I carried my RAT 3 around my neck and found it very easy to conceal under a t shirt and not to terribly heavy. I went through a phase where I liked neck knives but now I am back to folders. I still use my RAT3 now i keep it attached to my holster or on my vest.
