Chop job

So the tube rivet helps secure the handle. Not sure if that handle won't slide off now at some point. You may want to slide it off, glue it and place it back on.
Yeah. I wouldn’t trust it on a bigger blade. But it seams very secure. I would have to really try to get it off. I’m gonna keep an eye on it with use and see what happens. I like your glue idea if it ever needs it.

What do think of this? 09E8F8F2-16ED-47E0-81D8-2EE975DBC51C.jpeg I’ll drill a hole and add this spare handle fastener from some esee scales.

Nice chop job! At this point, I wouldn’t bother with the tube. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. If anything, maybe some epoxy or whatever at the pommel might help further secure the blade to the handle? I dunno. I like it short, though.

You could just take a piece of flat rubber, melt one side and quickly smack it onto the end to protect the exposed tang

cool, I like it.

With mine I have not it come loose in the over 5 months since I did it.

I even pulled pretty hard to try and get the handle off but it is on there.
