I finally got my 1311 this week, and what a sweet, sweet blade she is. There will be many more pics and videos incoming, as soon as I am able to get the files off the SD card and on to my iPad so I can edit it down. Here's a few teaser pics, because I'm kind of bored and why not, who doesn't love pictures of knives, right?

Ran into a few beauties just hanging out at the bar

And what does one do, when you come upon a couple hotties at the bar, you pick them up of course

This one was all business, no frills, low maintenance, and ready to get down and dirty

Her friend was a bit sexier and has some ridiculous curves

Sometimes it's fun to get them all dressed up

Just to take it all off again

Took 7 with the Zilla

Both bite very deep, the 1311 tends to get a bit stuck though, requiring a bit of effort to remove it sometimes

looks good -- got mine Wednesday, got it dirty yesterday.
mmmmmmmmmmmm.............

Looking good! The MOAD is pure chopping gold. I love it! Congrats on getting yours.

Thanks guys. Did a little chopping today, the 1311 is quite formidable, although the 1311 tends to stick a bit. More testing will be done, I have done videos, need to upload them once I get home

I love it , I don't mind the sticking it does a such a good job at bushwhacking and hard chopping I can forgive a little sticking.

First video added, the first two scenes are the 1311 and the Zilla chopping the same thickness of wood, the final is the Zilla chopping a much thicker section. The wood is melaleuca. Just a quick phone video, I do plan on doing another, with my real camera, and on some more secured items ( clamped down so they don't bounce) and some more uniform wood ( 2x4 s and plywood)

Absolutely! The combo of light weight, reach, controllability and chopping power in the 1311 is unparalleled in the Bussekin world.

I find that it binds a little bit too. It bites so deep that I don't think there is any way around that, unless you use quick wrist flicks instead of powerful chops. Nevertheless, you said it best when you called the MOAD a formidable chopper.

I just got my azwelke open spine sheath in the mail, so I am now ready to really put the MOAD to the test out in the field. I am planning a 48 to 72 hour camping/survival training trip. I think the MOAD paired with a small fixed blade will be the ultimate combo. It will be perfect for clearing the trail and wood processing for building a fire and shelter. The versatility of the MOAD is really what makes it so perfect. It packs such a punch for its weight and carries very well on the belt, especially with the exposed spine sheath.

Great pics!! Thank you for sharing :) Flux...Please let us know how it holds up on your trip! Sounds like it will be a good time
