Hi all,

After reading the thread asking about a better axe, I was going to do a short video showing the GBSFA in use. However, my Cold Steel hawk was in the truck, and I had a BK-9 downstairs...then walked by the Fiskars sitting on the dresser, and picked up the Corona machete in my pack.

Anyway, here is the video, we'll see how this goes. The video is a bit long, so if you want to skip to one tool, the machete goes first (1:35)and the GBSFA last(7:30).

There are other choices out there, but I think all these tools are quite good in their respective categories. Each of them trade something though. The machete is the lightest, and has a lot of reach, but dulls fairly quickly, and doesn't baton well unless the wood is pretty clear. The Becker is shorter, and holds an edge better, is easier to carry, but weighs a bit more. You get the idea. Thanks for watching, and let me know what you think.
