Here's a set for a client up north. Apologies for my photography:barf: Not like my frind Caleb's, but hopefully it'll give y'all an idea. Some more of Aldo's 1075, stainless guards, blackwood from the some block, and matching David Seward sheaths w/ostrich overlays. I couldn't help but think how nice it would be to have these, but that's my life as a bladesmith:D. A guy has to make a living.
Thanks for looking and comments/critiques are welcome.

Ben, I really like these, especially the hunter but I'm a hunter kinda guy. Thanks for posting.

Wonderful set Ben, I can see why they were hard to let go. I love Aldo's 1075, it produces some of the best hamons!

Ben: Very clean pair - well done! Great looking hamon - one of my favorites

Ben, you know for a fact that 1075, stainless and blackwood will always be popular with me. These are no exception. Beautifully done. Some killer hamon on these.

that's a nice lookin pair o knives

I really like the control you can see in these hamons. I really like the chopper and it looks like it has great hand contours too. Two cracking blades Ben. I like the blackwood too. I always find it like fancy micarta, you want a wood with that tactical edge but you don't want to go manmade and blackwood seems to be the good choice for it.

I really like the sheaths - they have enough flash to catch the eye but not too much so you'd feel bad strapping them on your belt and heading out to do some work. Really tidy.

Your work is pretty hard to critique Ben these are beautiful and your hamons on that 1075 are great

Thanks for the comments, y'all. Caleb, I wish you could have shot 'em, but we'll get you something soon.
