Need a good chopper that isn't a hatchet, and i was thinking about a cold steel ghurka kukri. Any thoughts?

Chanman you can't go wrong with one of the CS Gurkha Kukris. I have a CS Gurkha Kukris Plus and would not like missing.

It's a superb all-around large blade.

This is well-seasoned mesquite, which is one of the hardest woods around.

But, its real advantage is that it will also slice flexible green vegetation.

And, makes a great, versatile blade for all sorts of woods use.

To me, that's the true beauty of this blade. Its handling, weight, and balance are incredible. It's not a pure chopper, it's a do-it-all big knife. It also comes with a great sheath. I can't recommend the CS Gurkha enough.

I've yet to find a better chopper then Cold Steels Gurkha Kukri. It's an outstanding chopper!
