Well its now at its new home. The thickness was .25 at the ricasso and had a distal taper and a tapered tang. I didn't weigh it, but several people were surprised at how light it was when they picked it up. At its widest it was 2 1/8 and 1 1/2 near the handle. I cut 50 1"-1.125" alder brush pieces with 50 swings. I'll see the guy tomorrow and I'm sure he put it through the ringer this weekend. We will see what he thought!

Nice chopper!!!!
How do you make your sheathes?

Thanks, the sheath is made from 5/6 oz veg. Tanned leather. There is a welt (a .5" strip of leather) all the way around the perimeter of the sheath to protect the stitching. This is glued to hold it in place while I sew it by hand. If you have more specific questions I might be able to answer them better.

Now that' a knife! I like it:thumbup:.
It looks like a crossbreed between a machete and a kukri; very, very nice.
Good steel too, bet it can take some serious punishment.
Is it convexed?
