Murray loves chicken carcasses for dinner. I love chopping them up with cool knives too :)

Here's one getting an FBM work over...

The FBM practically scares the chicken in twain...

Cool,do you feed him an all fresh meat diet.
I have heard that it is much better for Danes and other giant breeds than eating all the fillers and what not in dog food.

Great Pictures of a beautiful knife Rob, I'm sure Murry loves it. Not quite a chicken cake but I'm sure just as good to him. Do you know if he prefers cooked or raw?

I have all ways been told not to feed a dog cooked chicken with bones.Raw is fine but cooked chicken bones are bad to splinter and can cause injury.

I've read the same thing, and that it can even extend the life of the dog.
Good on you Rob for taking the time:thumbup:

You can sure tell that old dog is well loved, good on ya Rob!!! NICE FBM Bro...

Yes, always fresh, unprocessed food. He does get treats and such, but his meals almost always consist of raw meat and bones.

I didn't know the raw bones vs cooked. I freak out if my dogs get into chicken bones! Good to know.

Nice to see another raw feeder here.

It's rather funny to see our little Havanese devour raw meat and crunch through chicken bones like they're nothing but saltine crackers.

Sweet knife work. Hope the chicken was de-boned.

No need to debone raw chicken. In fact it's better if the bone is there for two reasons. One is that it's essential nutrients, and the other is that it helps prevent choking. Ironic, yes. I tried raw feeding without bones, and my dog nearly choked to death several times, as they try to swallow huge chunks of soft meat and it gets stuck. The bones make them chew more and rip smaller chunks off. The bones get completely crushed and fully digested. I have yet to see a single bone fragment in my dog's stool ever.

It's actually kind of freaky how easily my little dog crunches through chicken thigh bones like they were nothing. Yet this dog is such a little scaredy dog and sooooo passive and sweet.
