Choppin' With The 9

Had a small Red Bud tree die on us for whatever reason, and used it as an opportunity to chop with the 9. Chops very well, but damn, I was surprised at how hard the Red Bud tree was. Chopped off the main 2, then sawed it level to the ground. I had my lanyard off it, as I'm making a new keeper for my 9 harness/sheath, but I would definitely recommend chopping with one on. I also need to make liners for my 9. I feel it's too narrow for my hand.

Thanks. It actually did slip out of my hands once. I was surprised when it happened. I wasn't wearing gloves, probably should have.

We had a small pecan limb down in the front yard, and I went out and zapped it with the 9.

Great shots Dubz. She's a chopper alright. Once you get used to the BK2, the handles don't feel right on the nine or seven without liners.
