Chopping Competition?

I ran across a knife cutting competition a few weeks ago and I must say, I was VERY impressed. They start off cutting a 2" thick piece of rope, a water bottle standing up is chopped in half, then 12 water bottles are cut in half, a golf ball and tennis ball are chopped in half, then another piece of rope, and finally a 2x4 is chopped in half and the knives are STILL razor sharp! Does anyone know any of the makers of these knives? Perhaps the steel, heat treatment, etc?

A little off note but came to mind while asking this question was DiamondBlade knives. I can't really seem to find any reviews about them but I have seen one in action on a video review and saw an article about them in Field and Stream...Anyway, thanks for any/all information about these topics would be very welcome. :)
