Now that I have had a couple of days to break it in, I thought I would post a few comments on the newest addition to my collection made by Comrad Chang.

It came on Saturday right before I was leaving to go see a friend's son play some baseball. (Fall Little League). With the way some of those parents act, the timing could not have been better. I felt well armed entering the stands with the CHOPS protected by its sheath and in its envelope tucked in my back pocket. It's small size allowed me to show the knife off to friends without getting any odd looks from the "non-knifers".
Thankfully everyone behaved and I did not have to present the knife during the entire game.
Again working with Mr. Chang is nothing short of a pleasure. After the cellulose composit blade was ground he contacted me on the choice of handle material. After knocking it around with emails we decided on the blue that is found on the Greek flag and Chang was able to match it with some well wraped parcord. He even drilled a hole through the shoulder of the blade in order to create the lanyard tails.
As you can see the blade design and handle ergonomics of the Street Scapel are all business.
The Sheath is fully lined with a waterproof outer shell with the CHOPS arrow-head logo imprinted on the shell in black.
