Great pistol, and great knife! How do you like your GI? I just picked up a Mil-Spec but haven't made it to the range yet. Thanks for sharing man.

Thank you. The GI is great. It shoots almost as well as my Loaded Springer. I like the basic look of it. I bought it to mod but can't bring myself to change anything but the grips. Enjoy your Mil-Spec Springfield makes a great gun. Ps Both of my Springers love Chip McCormick Shooting Star magazines. I have WC 47d's but you can't beat the price of the Shooting Stars. They feed flawlessly in the Springfields.

those are some nice shots Alpha. BTW, did you pick your name after the line of Buck knives? I have an Alpha Hunter folder that's quite nice.

Love those nice and simple 1911's by Springfield. The Mil-Spec was a great run. Is the GI the newer version of the Mil-Spec?

The GI is less refined compared to the Mil/Spec. It didn't replace the Mil Spec. Ps your Springer looks good. Are those Busse grips?

Busse canvas micarta. I have to update the sights one day but not much else will be done to this one.
