So I took my new Choppy out for the first time today, and thought I should see how it sits with the big, bad Junglas. Now before we get started....lets get one thing clear......pound for pound......the Junglas is pretty close to as good as it gets for a chopper. It bites deep and hard and has handle ergonomics that are just plain awsome. Becker handles have always been a favorite of mine, but the Junglas is amazing for me.
Here's the first pic......it looks like the Junglas ran away with it, but look close, this pic is a little deceiving. In person, the angle of the log is actually twisted some, so it looks like the left side of the Chopweilers cuts were not very deep, but if you look at the right side, the cut was just as deep as the Junglas. It was a lot closer than it looks here. I gave the edge to the Junglas on this log, but it wasn't by much.
Don't know what kind of wood this was, but it was as hard as steel.
