I just got done sharpening 8 knives using my new Chosera 400 and Chosera 1k.
What a dream! I have many stones and I am super happy with these new Choseras.
They were all chef knives so I stopped at the 1k and pulled them over a balsa stop with 1 micron diamond spray.
Freakin Razors! Albeit toothy, but hair poppers nonetheless!

Nice, its a great feeling when all are knives are razor sharp. I sleep much better. Lol congrats. On your choseras.

sweet man! I haven't stopped that low and stropped... lowest I have finished on was 2k but they were sweet! My favorite edge right now is a nice, hair-popping, tree topping edge produced off of the 1k stock diamond stones on the WEPS. It will still bite deep though, which I love.

Freehand, Krav.
I do have an EP with Shapton Glass. I do love it. But once I got the hang of freehand, I never looked back.

I am looking the the chosera stones now, they are pricey but I think I will take the leap after all of the great things I have read about them!

Not sure awestib. A mix of a couple of Japanese techniques I picked up from guys like Murray Carter, Jason Bosman, Mark Richmond, Ken Schwartz and many others on YouTube. To be frank I'm still figuring it out myself. Wouldn't know how to say.
And I like your quote too. :)

Wonderful stones, I have a 400 pro, 800 and 3000 chosera, I highly recommend adding the 3k.

They are pricy stones but some of the very best stones available.
