I wanted to share a few photos of a special camp knife i received from Chris Amos. He is a resident and teaches bladesmithing at the Willow Bow ranch of Ed Fowler. This knife is in following that tradition. I hope you will enjoy, i find it to be most beautiful in every detail. a spectacular knife!

52100 steel ?

I'm not sure this photo will show well enough but there is a lot going on in the matrix of the steel, i am counting 5 transition zones of hardness, edge to spine. Not only does this look incredible but it is more than primarily a decorative aspect.

Doug, yes 52100.

Stuart, the blade measures 6". I would consider it a mid-size. It has a nice heft and accomodates a large hand very well.

Hi David, How are you doing. Chris does have down the Fowler knife. It really looks nice, the red in the sheep horn is especially nice. I like the black ones too. Enjoy it.
