I had a chance to meet both Ann and Chris at Blade Saturday morning and must say that they are as genuine and as congenial a couple as I've ever met. They were gracious enough to sign some cutlery for me that I've had for awhile with individual autographs, as well as a new Nyala I picked up at their booth. The Blade experience was only heightened that much more by having had the chance to meet and talk to the Reeves in person. CR Knives is a class act that is only getting better.

I met Ann at Blade Show West last year and she was just an awesome person to talk to. I'm sure we chatted for a good 45 minutes. I told her about how I used my small CGG sebenza in an emergency to baton through 3-4 pieces of firelogs to start a fire. As a result, I purchased a small 21 to replace the other since it had gained sentimental value. She even gave me the CRK DVD as an appreciation for supporting their company! :D

Here is a mug shot of me and Ann at Blade Show West in 2009!

Ive talked to anne several times also, she is very nice, very down to earth. Years go by and i may have a question , so i ask to speak to her, and when she hears my last name she remembers me, not to many companys around anymore with that kind of customer service. Everone at crk is class all the way.

This is exactly what I don't want to hear. Makes me want to buy more CRKs. And I don't have the money right now.

I had a great experience meeting them for the first time at blade. They were exceptional. I am a somewhat new Reeveanite but a long term Spyderco nut. I have given thousands of dollars to Spydefco and when I went to introduce Sal he ignored me and just walked away. I clearly said hello to as he looked at me 1,5' away and I started to sopeak with him as he continued to look at me. Nevertheless I was very let down. My wife couldn't believe it. Now I will give credit where credit is due. There was a lady at the Spyderco booth who I think saw what happened and she was excellent. I really enjoyed her.
I previously went to Chris Reeves booth. Both Chris and Anne were a pleasure and will for now on get my money. Not the other.

I regret that for some reason I did not look hard enough for the CRK booth last weekend. I did find the other booths I wanted to see including the William Henry booth. William Henry ignored me both times I stopped by their booth and there were no other customers around. They apparently were to involved into talking to each other.

Sorry for the thread hi-jack.
