He handed me the new bowie at the SHOT Show.

It's a beauty, and this model should make a lot of people happy. :thumbup:
Just don't get one directly from Chris, or you probably won't get to keep it. :(

Actually, the big bowie started things off, and then we got into the new ninja stuff. I'm still carrying my 1990 Tomcat, didn't even think of any new folders.
Wouldn't have done me much good to look at 'em anyway, the bounder woulda made me give them back, too.

When he sends me mine, I'll let you know how it behaves!... and how it compares to the Original... (OK, mine is BC coated and has custom partial serrations...).:D

True, but I wanted them at the time. There's only about an inch of them...:rolleyes:

Dpris, it is 60 degrees outside now at midnight and 80 degrees in the house.........I got a new wood stove............ :rolleyes:

We are wrinkling up like grapes it's been so hot in the house this winter......anyone know what that little pull knob thingy is on the front of wood stoves ? :(

What new Bowie are you talking about? Is it that Jungle knife Chris Posted last week or is it a different knife? Why am I out of the loop so much??:o

It's the new Super SOG Bowie. Don't have the capability for photos, but it has a 7.5-inch AUS-8 black TiNi blade, leather washer handles, steel pommel, leather sheath with stone, weighs about 59 pounds (solid!). 20th Anniversary version of the original SOG Bowie.
Beautiful.
Good trip, hard to come home from six days of 70 degree sunshine to 20 degree snow.
They also have a Fusion Battleaxe & a Fusion Tactical Tomahawk for those occasions when the snipe are closing in and you want to toss something to discourage 'em. :)
