Dear Members,
At about 6:00pm Friday my phone went off with five messages in less than two minutes. Either we’ve been hit again or someone has been killed. Fucked either way. It was Chris. I was, I am … stunned. Two weeks ago we had discussed doing a project together.

This was a righteous man. Always – always placing the needs, concerns and safety of others above himself. The community and the country has lost one of the special ones. If he didn’t die fighting, he died helping. For a warrior they are one in the same.

I hope they make good whisky in Heaven. Thank you for keeping us safe.
