Chris Peterson Meteorite Damascus Value

Greetings, BF friends - I am trying to help a friend put a value to this knife, which is out of my realm a fair bit.

Looks like an older work of Mr. Peterson, as it’s at least been sitting long enough for verdigris to form.

I am mainly looking for a fair market value. Thank you in advance.

I acquired this knife from a now deceased meteorite collector and don't need it in my collection. This is in "like-new" unused condition, with the blade along the spine from the tip to bolster measuring exactly 5 cm (the entire knife measures 5 inches). Hi all,

I recently purchased this beautiful knife made by Chris Peterson of Salina Utah. It was an impulse buy (E-bay ) but I absolutely love this knife.

It's big, heavy, and in-your-face, but the dropped handle with palm swell makes it feel like part of me. I also find the temperline in the damascus particularly striking, and the filework adds a really nice touch.

Anyway, now that I have this knife and another one on the way (a hunter, also purchased in the...

Ahh Salina. Side by sides and methamphetamine.

Used to work a little bit north of there and travelled through on my way to Moab a lot.

They call that part of the state “Little scandanavia” If your last name doesn’t end in -son or -sen you probably don't have roots there.
