Has anybody ever had CRK do any custom work on a Sebenza? I am contemplating having my first CRK knife (large Sebenza) be a custom one. I was just curious if anyone could show me some pics of their own CRK custom jobs or talk about your experience with the company in helping you achieve what you wanted.

Many people have had custom designs done of the sides.

As far as "Make a sebenza in 1095." or similar I doubt they'd do that.

No, I'm not looking to reinvent the wheel, I happy with the way the knife is made, I was just curious about custom engraving and their experiences in having the process done.

Frankly I've been a little disapointed. I wrote and emailled them about a custom design I was interested in, and I had to prompt them to respond. When they did answer me they apologized, and said they would call me about it, but never did call. I've heard thier custom service is second to none, but I'm sorry to say that has not been my experience. Perhaps I just caught them at a bad time. Anne, if you read this, please call Bob about the "Ranger patch" custom design. Thanks.

I wrote them an email today and I am going to give them a few days to respond, but I hope this does not turn into a debacle of unanswered emails. Although being a new customer of theirs I plan on giving them the benefit of the doubt, but I hope I can expect customer service with their custom shop like I have experienced in the past with Busse.

Thanks, I just checked out his threads and they more or less contained the info I was looking for. I can't wait to hear back from them to see if my design idea is possible.
